I have input girls and my details today, having finally received a password. The previous GIC and assistant guiders are still active- two left before I started and 2 at the end of 2008 as I started in Jan 09. I didn't include them on last years census.Anyone know how I can amend these details to inactive or no longer members please?

Contact your Div Comm or your Leadership Co-ordinator - they are the ones with the correct sign ons to inactivate them.

Hi,

Just to let you know that there will also be a form that is sent so if anything on Go! is incorrect as of 31st Dec 09 you can change it then and you will only pay for the number of adults and children you have in your unit.

Hope that helps
Lesley

District Commissioners can also inactivate Guiders - before Christmas I had a big consultation with all the units in my District to sort out who should be on their unit teams and who needed to be removed and I was able to make all the amendments in Go.

i rang up regional office and was transferred into the right unit and they said to contact them if anyones appointment details are incorrect and they could do it there and then.

I do our divisions very quickly, it is not difficult to sort out at all.

I have exactly same problem, but it turns out its not them that hasn't done it, its GO that has "tombstoned" them thats the problem? that may have occurred in your case, probably best to ask and find out (as we can't see if they have been tombstoned or not, we just know they are still sitting on our leadership list!

this "tombstoning" bit seems to happen a lot when they amend leadership status with guiders?

A 'tombstoned' role is one that has a past 'Valid To' date (& is most common with YL & LinT roles), but is still 'Active'.

If a role has been 'tombstoned' then you'll need to get in contact with your County Membership Support Coordinator / County Go! User as she/they are the only people (in addition to your C/R office staff) who can either extend the role or make it 'Inactive' as appropriate.

No GO is feeling a little poorly tonight.

how long does it take for the "tombstoned" people to disappear off lists when they've been inactivated?

I've had ex-leader on list since October time (thats when attempt was made to de-activate her and thus becoming tombstoned) but she is still there? I know our key-holder has asked someone to sort out problem, so assuming its a huge problem to sort?

If done properly, they disappear immediately - it does sound as if there is something else weird going on.

Rest of GO seems to be working properly again tonight. I have just been on to put new statuses against people who had been tombstoned and inactivated by our county co-ordinator. She did them this afternoon and I have been able to put new roles in this evening. So their tombstones definitely disappeared immediately.

do you think I should contact the GO email address re the one I still have tombstoned? (has been there a long time)
