GO going straight back to homepage

I'm able to log on to GO and the members area but as soon as I click one of the links to GO (and I've tried a few on different pages) it goes back to the GGUK main homepage. Has anyone else had this problem? I've been on GO fine before but now I really need to find the membership numbers of some of my girls and I can't get on.

I had this problem the other day & was advised on here to clear my cookies that worked for me

It did that to me once before but the next time i logged in it was ok (and that was the last time i logged in).

It does it to me quite regularly. I just waited until the following day and it worked again!

Thanks, I persevered and got there! We're having a lot of trouble with it as a unit at the moment.

It happens to me loads, in end I had to do my Go stuff at work, and then next time I logged in at home I was straight on! Weird

Mine usually does that on the first try, and then goes in on the second try.

Seems to be a reoccuring problem -sometimes I'm in there and it's fine, sometimes, I get in and after about 10-15mins it logs me out of GO and take me back to the homepage! Have given up trying to work it out - is v. frustrating tho.

You need to make sure that GO is listed as one of your Trusted Sites, it should then work properly.

Happens to me without fail if I try and log in through Chrome! Other browsers seem to be ok though.

GO has NEVER worked for me, it does this every time! Will try clear my cookies. I also use chrome, so that might be the issue

Thanks for this thread everyone! I use Chrome and have never had a problem, but the last few days I haven't been able to get on. Just cleared my cookies and I'm back in now!

I've just had this problem - don't want to clear my cookies as that's a pain, I'll try at work I think.

This was happening to me a few days ago, could log in, go to members area, but as soon as I went to GO it logged me out and returned to the GGUK Homepage. It's OK now though, and I didn't change browser or anything.

Just so people know - in Chrome you can change the settings so that the GGUK site only retains cookies for the current browsing session, so it will delete the cookies for that site but not for all the others. It's in Options > Under the Bonnet > Content Settings > Manage Exceptions - add the girlguiding.org.uk domain with session only and it works fine for the most part now.
