I think it's really interesting to see how people plan to implement the new programme, and especially to see how it can work alongside the old programme. Post your Autumn 2018 programmes here!

Meeting 1: 20 minutes of getting to know you game; 20mins team building game; 10 mins to pick a Skills Builder for the term (choice of three: Live Smart, Innovate or Explore, all level 3 because we mostly have 9 year olds currently). 30mins One Good Turn UMA activity (Take Action or Community)
Meeting 2&3: Longer activities from the Skills Builder chosen
Meeting 4: A 45 minute activity from the SB, plus the My Invisible Bubble UMA activity (20mins Be Well or You)
Meeting 5: Bake cookies for emergency services (we do this every year) (Community)
Meeting 6: A 45 minute activity from the SB, plus the Lend a Hand UMA (Know Yourself 15m). Potentially a promise ceremony.
Meeting 7: Put some no-equipment UMAs out. In age groups/Adventure groups, girls pick an activity and run it there and then. We will offer the STOP, Magnificient Memories and Super Brownies UMAs, along with the activities in the old Adventure books if they want to do one of those to help complete an Adventure Wedge. This could give them a YCW activity or 30-45mins of Have Adventures, Know Yourself or Take Action, depending on what each group chooses.
Meeting 8: Final SB activity
Meeting 9: Sensory stories and Magic Moving Postcards UMAs (Express Yourself 45 + 20mins). Probably will aim for a Christmassy/winter theme to these if possible, although I might change these to different UMAs to something from a different theme if they pick the Innovate SB.
Meeting 10: End of term trip

You may well find you don't need so many weeks for Skills Builder - most can be done in 3-4 meetings.

Week 3 SB went down like a lead balloon.
I'm having a giggle at this. I haven't tried that SB yet (we're doing First Aid this term), however I know anytime I suggest the "Take Action" type activities they look at me like I've got horns on my head. I think that age group just isn't interested in campaigning and stuff. I know I was obsessed with writing to my MP when I was a kid but I think I was at least guide age by then.

Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, but am I right in thinking there's a term planner online now?
