I'm going hand luggage only too, although my ss guider has a suitcase if I get stuck.

I'm wear my LBD. It's just a black strappy dress with a bit of beading.

Yeah I've got a dress too, I just need to sort out shoes ect.
I'm really looking forward to it now.
I've been asked to help with some ice breaker/getting to know you type games for Friday night. Hmm, now to think some up!

This time next week I will be on the way to the airport! whopppppp!

We had a bit of a nightmare this week as one of our girls pulled out of the trip, she has glandular fever so her doctor has advised against travelling. She is devestated, especially as she has been waiting to make her promise on the plane on the way up!

Luckily we have managed to fill her space with a newer Ranger who joined us after we had applied for this trip and BA allowed us to change the flight ticket details and needless to say CHQ have been brilliant about swapping the details over! phew!

I'm planning on wearing my red dress from Next.
You're right - when ever I've flown to EDI, the luggage is normally in the baggage hall before I am! It's a nice, compact airport (but not nearly as small as Sibiu, but that's another story!)

Do you know if there is any where to eat in the airport?

We are just trying to work out where to have dinner on Sunday night, our flight home is 8.30pm, so we will need to be at the airport by about 7pm (to be safe) So wondered if we could eat there or have an early dinner in town?

There is (or was a couple of weeks ago) a weatherspoons pub after security, which is possibly the best option for a full meal, there is also an EAT (before security) and a couple of costa type cafe things before and after security.

Yes, last time I was there (in Jan) I remember it being as She Ra says! I think there's also a posh seafood place and a place selling fancy sandwich things and tart things, immediately opposite security.
