well done you, keep her I have been looking for a new leader for rainbows and my brownies, and had to go to great lengths to find them, Once your commissioner has met her and her forms are sent, ask her where she wants it to go she may want to take up the role as an assistant leader which will be a great help to you

Going to get her policed checked and forms filled in etc just give her a few week to decide if she wants to commit then away we go...

There's never a simple answer to all these questions - we were contacted by County and told that Miss X wished to come and help us at Rainbows. We were told that Miss X was a teaching assistant at the local school, so would be 'ideal'. Miss X never turned up - and we asked at both local schools (incase she had the wrong information), and it turned out that they'd never heard of Miss X. The leadership team was rather unsettled by this! We could have done everything properly and still ended up with some-one who wasn't who they claimed to be in our meeting!

Glad your lady is turning out well for you.

you invite in strangers to do talks sometimes though....

so more important that they are never left alone without another adult being present until both crbed and you are happy for them to do so
