I just have a few questions about the summer spectacular for Guides, in the celebrate catalogue it doesn't mention camping as an option, if we were camping would we still be able to take part in all the activities?
Would we have a site to ourselves or would we be sharing and can we bring senior section members?

Hey Ranger Guider,

Waddow decided to add camping on after the centenary catalog was produced.

If you would like to camp you can book a campsite for your own unit.
its £125 per person for the week, and that includes the campsite fees and the activity programme. this is a self catered option.

So yes, in answer to your question... you can book onto summer spectacular and camp!

Do you have a day aimed at guides/or are we able to book a days activities from the listed Girlguiding UK - Home and welcome. (eg tree builing climbing in the moring and archery in the afternoon). thanks

hey, we're not doing a specific day this year, but if you want to bring your guides then if you just phone up 01200 423186 or email waddow@girlguiding.org.uk you can come for the day, there is a site fee of 80p per person on top of activity fee. But yes, you are free to book as your own group for the day and choose your own programme.
