Trefoil 2 How much are your subs?

Firstly to explain I am taking over a Brownie Pack.

Just looking at next year, the subs letters have went out already, but looking at it it doesn't cover the census fee really.

Previous Feb £20 was collected from parents; this year it wasn't asked for, so wondering about this coming year what to do.

I would rather have waited put on letter a higher monthly subs and split census with monthly subs or at least mentioned £20 due in Feb.

How do I tackle that census money was not collected this Feb, do I accept that it was paid from funds or do I try and collect it now, explaining the Owls forgot and are not so wise?

I also would rather have not put out a letter covering the whole year as we may have a major change in hall fees coming up in Jan.

What do you all charge (total for the year) and how? Do you take census seperatly

I would waive (sp?) census for this year.... asking retospectively seems a bit mean somehow, but thats just my gut instinct.

We charge £12 per term subs which includes census - though our census was only £13.65 this year and we have very low rent (£20 per year contribution to church)

I didn't really think it would be a good idea to try and get this years census now, I just hope next year they don't complain, hopefully they will think it was an oversight this year and think they have got away with not paying

So what would that add up to over the year, not sure how many terms you see?

I said £20 for census, but I don't know what it actually is for Brownies?

Just trying to work this out , so £2 a week would add up to about £74-£76 a year??

    £12 a term would that mean £48?

LOL do you pay rent in fairy dust?

Saw finances for apr-apr and it was fine they had a little left over, but my programme will involve a bit more spending with things like Jelly babies night etc needing resources and builing up things like games equipment and ropes etc. So I don't want to leave myself short.

There is a bit in funds we can use to build up stuff like games equip etc but want to make sure we are ticking over OK.

Maybe I should have not bought 20 glow in the dark aliens (were only 34p)

We are charging £25 this term, but I think its £15 subs and £10 for our trip to Edinburgh in July.
