What a fantastic design and so different from anything else out there. I am so glad you are keeping the challenge going, the history of guiding is timeless and the challenge is so much more fun (and informative) than the traditions badges (well I think so).

We will be keeping the main bulk of the challenge as it is, as it is the main ,back bone' of the challenge, however we will be adding some extra ideas and will be adding a Centenary Section as it is now part of our history too.

We will be keeping everything as it is until the end of the Centenary, and then in November we will relaunch the Time Travel Challenge as a general resource and not a centenary resource.

The new badge will also be larger at 3".

Or at least these are the plans at the minute, and we are open to further suggestions.

oh i see, i think we will be doing this summer to october or october to christmass not too sure yet

I love the new eye catching design and it would be great for units to continue to do after the centenary year! at some point could you also update all the literature/revamp it to include all the fresh ideas/activities?

Yes Squirel, we intend to collate all the extra activities and put them into the resource as one not as seperate sheets and a few more things that we want to add or change, and include anything that fellow Guiders like yourself have gone out of thier way to send us as well.

Have just put our order for 25 badges in the post to you today as we plan to start after Easter with current intake of Brownies.

Would def return to this when we have enough of them moved on and do it all again with the new badge and new intake as well.

Hi, going to do this challenge at brownies pack holiday in April one of my task is to explain the challenge to the brownies at the beginning of the holiday.
I feel a bit overwhelmed at the minute and I am not sure where to begin!!! Has anyone any simple suggestions how to do a timeline with Brownies and explain the challenge them?Brill resource Irish Brown Owl.

I like the new design, when the resource is altered after the centenary year then I think I will do it with my brownies
