We usually have 3 groups
Cooks
Waitresses
Housekeepes
Cooks - help in the kitchen preparing the food, keeping the kitchen tidy by sweeping and mopping where needed
Waitresses - set tables for meals, keep the floor clean by speeping an mopping where needed, choose grace
House keepers - clean toilets and sinks (maybe between each group they could do 1 toilet and 2 sink?) keeping the craft/activity area tidy by clearing the tables where needed, sweeping and mopping the floor.
Our housekeepers have traditionally don Brownies own each night before going to bed (last group before they go home)
Especially for a weekend don't give them too much otherwise they'll coplain that they spend half their time doing duties (which is true!)
i do exactly what debstar has written, the groups rotate around so each have a day. They help out where possible, peeling potatoes, tidying craft/games away etc. My brownies love washing up!!!
right ok ta looks like i have missed off cleaning of toilets sinks etc. I thought that they could all help with tidying up stuff after crafts etc

this is the 1 I jsut did for my guide weekend away.
We have:
Cooks - help cook in kitchen, wash kitchen dishes
Waitresses - set tables, choose grace, serve meals, sweep & mop dining room floor
Housemaids - clean bathrooms, keep cloakroom tidy
we had cooks who had to produce the food.
we had waitresses who had to clean and set the tables then serve the food. they also had to collect the dirty dishes and take them to the...
washer uppers (rinsers, and drier upppers, same six)
When we did the rota, we had an easy dinner on the first night. Sixers washed and seconders were waitresses. Sat am, Sat lunch and Sun am were voluteers with each six doing one of the options. Sat pm was a BBQ and we drew names out of a hat.
One of the sixers got best washer upper! (she had 3 goes) and we didn't have to do a lot of mopping and sweeping and we ddint have to do the loos.
Not helpful i know...but from a brownies point of view; cleaning first day is best as there's nothing to clean and cooking on the last day is best as there's not much to cook
We used to have
Cooks;
Orderly - waitresses basically
Health and hygiene - cleaners basically
