If you have the Adventure File (the first one), the instructions on how to tie the Brownie Tie are in the Badge Support pages for Brownie Traditions badge.

(Alternatively ask your archivist if she has any info)

Sarah, I love that pack - I think I might use it with my lot - or see if some of them have time to do it at home!

only one query, which shows that you can multitask in front of the telly better than me:

Heraldry demands that two colours must never
touch each other, for this reason when the red
cross of England was put onto the flag of Scotland
a white border was added around the red
    cross

    should it be 'three colours?'

one six did their trads badge and loved it...... it might be a good half term project for the others.

    THanks xx

We're doing Brownie Trads next meeting and a nice older Guider is running it for us - she said she wasn't bothering with the tie as it was really difficult! But we persuaded her that ours would manage a candle and match under supervision. The nice thing about having mainly younger Brownies is they don't know yet what they aren't "supposed" to be able to do.
