In my area, the County Exec agreed what county will charge for next year's census at the September exec - that's CHQ + RHQ + County + amount for county campsite.
Division then discussed and agreed their levies - Division and Division premises - and suggested an amount for Districts. I would expect that you should hear at your next District meeting if you haven't heard already. If you don't, ask!
As DC, I've been given until next week to confirm to Division what the fee per member will be in my District and how much of that is the District levy. This will then be input into GO!, but I don't know what the deadline is for that, and will be used in due course to invoice us all.

Hi new to this, when/how do we get invoiced and when is payment due by.
thanks
We don't know for sure yet! - next census will be the first under this system. I expect that the invoice will tell us when payment is due by but when we will get the invoices, I don't know.

in the manual system last year we had to work out membership numbers/ages of girls as at 22nd February and send off forms with cheques by end of January... (cut off date for cheques probably varied area by area?) but this year now that we are using GO I don't think anyone is totally sure yet what will happen?
With the manual system, dates varied from place to place, but most of us paid after 22 February (which saved the need to be psychic!) They were passed to District, who banked them, then paid what was due to Division, and so on up the chain. As I understand it, this time CHQ will invoice each unit for their full fee, keep their cut and pass the excess down to Country/Region, and so on.
I'd expect the invoices to come in during February, (and our area's thus urging us to get our records onto GO and up to date by the end of December) but there's no word so far of quite when the invoices will come out.

Ours is £22, seems loads more than some other areas!
Ours is £22.50 this year in one county and I think about £18 in the other! 3 guesses which unit funds I will be paying my census out of! lol
The £22.50 was announced a few weeks ago, I can't remember if we have been told the exact amount in my other division/county yet but I think it was £18 last year.
We have also been told that the bill for census will be based on info taken from GO! on 31st January, and that any unit who has not put their data onto the system by then will be charged for a full unit (whatever they are calculating that as!?!) PLUS 4 leaders!!!
ours is £20.50, the division HQ is being rebuilt and they then want an additional £2 levy. Last year was £17.50 we have managed to put off the £2 till the summer as that delays someof a £5 price hike.
"they say; a pessimist sees a glass of water as half empty, an optimist sees the same glass as half full but a giving person looks for someone who's thirsty."
Ours is £23.50 - last year was a pound less and included a centenary levy, so it's not clear whether it's gone up by the usual pound a year, or by 2!
No word on whether there'll be a Division or District levy on top.
