What part of Scotland are you thinking about?
Give me a woman who can climb the highest mountain, Give me a woman who can swim across the widest sea, Women need women who lead lives of boldest daring, Tell me their stories they inspire me

Collecting centenary and thinking day badges if anyone wants to swap
I have centenary woggles for sale - pm me for details! http://www.guiders.co.uk/centenary-2...y-woggles.html

Are you North Lanarkshire? I seem to be the only other on on here who is!

Sorry, to answer your question, The Garden House at Netherurd is really nice but a wee bit pricey compared to some. (300 per night, hols 24 girls and 6 leaders)

Bonaly is also good, and a place at torphichen called The Craigs.

I really like Fordell Firs, and have been on indoor camps in the Richmond and Henderson buildings but not sure how suitable they re for Brownies.

Edinburgh's pack holiday house, Stanemuir, is near Carnwath. They have campsites at Trefoil, near Hermiston, and at Carsewell, near Penicuik. You can do sleepovers at Edinburgh Headquarters and at Currie Guide Hall. Information on the former from the Girlguiding Edinburgh website (or I can supply), can also supply info about Currie Guide Hall as it's in my District :-)

When I was a Brownie we went to either Catterburn, which is Dunbartonshire's site out past Drymen or Gartocharn which is near Loch Lomond which belongs to goodness only knows who, Possibly Forth Valley. They're both lovely, although I can't remember whether Gartocharn has a pack holiday house.

You can get details of Catterburn on www.girlguidingdunbartonshire.org.uk.
Achahardeis at Gartocharn is Glasgow County's site although it is not situated within Glasgow. There is definitely a Brownie House there

I'd forgotten that it was called Achahardeis, absolutely loved it, especially as I think I had my last guide camp there!
