When my girls move up I make them inactive - & pass their registration number on to Brown Owl so she can make them active in her unit.
She does the same when the Brownies move to my Guides.
We find it easier to give the numbers as the search didn't show when we just had a name.

Same here. The number is the most important thing - even more important than the girls' names as there can be inconsitency in spellings.

membership in guiding remains active - rainbows level has to be made inactive - passing on membership number is really helpful for next leader if you can
Love is something if you give it away you'll end up having more

Go to role details and make her inactive as a rainbow and put in her leaving date. Hopefully if she was on a waiting list the brownie guider will already have her in her waiting to join section and she just changes it to active brownie.

If you're the Brownie leader and have her on your waiting list then you go into her on the waiting list and change her role status from waiting-to-join to active. If she's not on your waiting list on GO then go through the normal process for adding a girl and just include the membership number instead of all the details to find her in the system. It's quite straight forward really.
