Default Help with an old brownie dress

By the magic of ebay I have an old brownie dress, and also a handful of badges to sew onto it.

Which badges go on the left sleeve, apart from name tape, county badge and birthday badge? I saw a photo on the front of an old annual with something on there, but can't make out what it is.
Where did the Quest badge go?

The only thing I have pictured on the left sleeve is a cloth county badge sewn under the name tape.

Interest badges in pairs down the right sleeve, Footpath/Road/Highway and Venture on the right breast and Six badge with stripes underneath on left.
World badge seems to be pinned above the Six emblem.

Venture badge under the six emblem, under any sixer or seconder stripes.

My left sleeve had more interest badges on it, cos i ran out of space on my right arm.

Nope, the Venture badge definately went with the Journey badge. I've even checked POR!

When I was a Brownie, the Venture went above the Journey, but when the badges changed to the square ones the Venture went below.

I have a scanned page from POR, but it won't load, I'll try tomorrow...

I don't know which era dress you are referring to, but if you have the late 1980's handbook (aqua with emily on the front) there is a diagram in there of where they go.

From memory the late 80's version of the dress went (as you look at it):
Interest badges down the left sleeve (so right if you were wearing it)
Pack name tape on the seam at the top of the right sleeve with county silk below and birthday badges sewn on the shoulder.
On left chest is the journey badge with triangular Venture badge below it.
On right chest is six emblem with sixer/second beneath.
Yellow crossover tie had silver 'brownie man' promise badge pinned in the centre.

I'll try and scan the diagram in later for you.
Don't know about the Quest badge I'm afraid but I think special badges (eg Brownies 75) were sewn above the six emblem. I think the world badge was also pinned on in this area.

    Quest went above the six.

    Or at least mine did.
