Default Brownie Promise Flower template help please

I know the theory of a promise flower but have never seen one and cannot visualise it. I've trawled through and can't find a template anywhare.
Can anyone help me please, or, like so many things that my pack does, it will be in the spirit of guiding, but just a little bit out of tune/mishapen/missized/misspelt :-D !!
I'm planning a whole evening of promise/law/motto activities on Thursday, most of which involve running and/or shouting, so could use a crafty 10 mins.

    Thanks in advance
If in doubt, papier mache !

Sorry, I don't have a template. Many things are wonky in nature so just go with what you can do!!

Erm is that the six sided shape (pentagon?) in the middle with triangle points coming out of it. YOu write the promise, fold the points in & float on water so it opens.

    Bit like this: http://www.abc.net.au/science/surfin...gic.flower.htm

Don't have a template though, hopefullly that should be of some help.

Do you mean the thing that folds up into a Trefoil? I attached to this thread:

I used for a Promise activity a few weeks ago.The Promise Mice are quite nice to do as well-the girls bring them back next week with knots in the tail for every time they kept their Promise.

Thanks for your help everyone. So glad that I asked: what i thought we were doing bears no relation to either of these !!!
    I will offer them both.

Ivy/EagleOwl, thanks but I needed to know what they are before Thursday so I can do the prep. Say Hi to WinterOwl for me x

The ones we did, if I remember, had a circle for the middle of the flower with "I promise to do my best to..." on, then a petal with each line on, then a pipe cleaner for the stalk, and the brownie law on two leaves at the bottom.

This is the Canadian Guide Promise (revised for our Centenary) so I suspect it will need to be adapted for the UK Brownies but here are some ideas:

    (scroll down).

Here is another Brownie Promise Craft from the same Guider's "Brownie" website.

I made up a siilar one for Rainbows. I had published the templates online but our website doesn't seem to exist! I think the files are on my old computer at home, I'll check if I get chance.
