A step by step guide to making your own weemee!
Here is my step by step guide to making your own weemee!
STEP ONE:
Get your weemee! I use www.weeworld.com
Pick your eye colour, hair, glasses etc. I've used the rounded face on the unifom templates though, so if you pick that it will automatically match up. If you choose a different shape then be warned that you might have to do some additional editing.
To avoid having blushing cheeks pick a pair of trousers for it (unless you want them of course!)

STEP TWO:
Now you need to copy and paste your weemee into an image editing programme.
This is the tricky bit. To get the gradiated blue background you ned to hit 'print screen' on your keyboard while changing the background environment. If the flash is running slow it's fairly easy, but if it runs fast then it might take a few goes. Believe me I've spent ages doing this at times!

STEP THREE:
Paste the image into an editing programme.
For all the weemees I've created I've used Microsoft Paint, an incredibly basic standard programme that automatically comes with Windows (you can find it under the Start Menu > Programmes > Accessories)
Delete most of the bits you don't want (which is most of the image at this stage!)
Here I've downloaded a guider body from this site (they're under 'Downloads > Clipart'). I've copied & pasted it into the same document. I've chosen to add in a necker as well.

STEP FOUR:
Delete the blue (you can fill it in with white) and delete the remaining bits of your weemees body. You'll find that the top/skin colour is gradiated so you will need to delete this as well. It does take time to do, so be patient!
I've now moved my necker onto the guiders body. It is fairly easy to see when zoomed in when the bit of chin with the necker matches the head.

STEP FIVE:
You can see that I now have just a head! I've also changed the badge tab colour (just fill it with whatever section colour is right for you!).
Now it's time to put the new head on it's body. The easiest way to see if it's lined up is to look at the shading on the chin and the eyes.
MS Paint makes the background colour transparent (in this case white) so you will see through the white bits of the eyes when they overlap. You just need to make sure the two go over each other right (it's not as hard as it might sound, honest). Or match the bottom of the chin up with each other.
You can see on the close up picture that on the left of the face the chin isn't lined up properly, and on the right side the eye is wrong. But you can easily see how they should work!
if you chose the "export" tab and select "put my weme on a t-shirt or bag option you get a screen with your weeme on a white background, if you right click on hte image you can save it as a png file
