    Default New Pin Badge Ideas

    Hi Ladies
not sure if you have all had a chance to look at the Badgefreaks site (see the badge tab at the top of the site)

Can you think of any fab badges that would be a good thing to have in Guiding. Have I missed out any major aspects?
I only run one section so I really dont know

How about badges for duties say cook, water, etc. so that each day at camp when the duty changes they change badges and we can see instantly if a cook is sitting down chatting when the kitchen is busy.

How about badges for elements of the programme that aren't covered already by girlguiding badges - e.g. look wider?

I suggested one for leaders saying "My name is not miss" or "I am not your teacher"

ooh one for each of the octants?
how about some alternative patrol badges? our senior patrol are allowed to pick their own name so I got pin badges made up for them (same size as the ones you do). A good selection of flowers or more animals (or more birds beginning with 'p' maybe?!)

A nice rebellious one with 'I like getting badges' on it! gguk hint hint! or 'neckers for everyone!'

I like that idea, we have aprons with a picture of a relevant item on, but they only wear them when they are told to, they don't wear them all the time, they could wear a badge from getting up to putting PJs on.

    We have:

    Health
    Orderlies
    Cooks
    Waitresses

    Oooooh just had a thought...

We're doing a Harry Potter Pack holiday this year and will be sorting the girls when they arrive, then giving them a house badge to wear (gryffindor etc) how much would it cost us to get 5 of each house done, only the house logo - we have artwork if you need it.

brown owl - I did HP badges at school for an event. I simply printed out the house badge onto sticker paper (I got a good 6 across the page all the way down) and then stuck a small strip of paper (in the right colour) folded in half dangling down to the back . They lasted for the day at school. Not so sure about a whole day at camp though.

We were HP themed last year and got them all to design a shield that they stuck outside of their tent. They stuck objects from around the campsite on it to decorate it.
