The only info on this I know it that it will be a worldwide jail break rather than a europe one - due to the centenery. This year the info aobut whats actualy involved didn't go to groups until Dec but not so sure about the 2010 one.
    smile it might not happen

As the International Adviser for Nottinghamshire this is the inside scoop!

In 2010 there will be an international challenge called Centenary Stampede run for GGUK by Girlguiding Midlands. Over the past few years midlands has run Jailbreak which has been based around Europe, teams have had to do various challenges, and visit places of interest.
The Centenary Stampede in 2010 will be on a bigger scale in Europe and open to all Senior Section units across the UK. The aim is to get 100 teams to enter.

The challenges may include things like not visiting any 2 countries that start with the same letter so you could go to Spain and Switzerland.

At the moment it is still being planned and i'm sure the Midlands Region International Adviser has it all in hand.

so does that mean you can't enter with a group of senior section from your district/division

I think at the anual event they had some jailbreak girls there to get peoples ideas flowing as most counties in Midlands had heard of jailbreak.
Any SS team can enter, I guess you'll have to wait to see what the rules are?
