Default Senior Section Camp Licence!! ARGH!

I decided in a moment of madness a few months ago to do my SS camp licence... It is all booked etc for August and i'm really looking forward to it. We're having a planning meeting with the rangers attending next week to organise activities and food etc and things are starting to look good, but i wondered if anyone could give me advice about the camp itself/doing a camp licence/taking rangers away etc as I need all the help I can get at the moment! The blue camp and holiday scheme is all a bit overwhelming at the moment so need to work my way through it bit by bit, but i'm getting there... but yes, any advice would be gratefully recieved! Thank you

doing mine in August, although I can't remember where I put my forms (as in I filled them all in on a soggy campsite, so I could have posted them!)

Doing mine the weekend after next.
Working through the blue folder I have found fustrating in places but spoke to our Div CA and she said not to worry about some of the bits of the modules as they do not apply to our camp and just put N/A against them. Luckily I have the Div Com on my team and she already has a Snr Section Licence.
I have taken pictures of the campsite, the tap, the toilet block, the girls checking tents and equipment and the hike route.
Being rangers they should really be doing most of it and having as much input as possible. Just keep collecting all their notes for your folder. Unlike Brownies you do not have to keep them busy the whole time and mine have decided on a more relaxed approach.
With the timetable, once you have your geting up times, your going to bed times and meal times there's just enough room for activities.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the fine weather.

Whilst I haven't done my SS Licence, I did my permit as part of my Queens and have done my Brownie Holiday Licence, so I've had the same bits signed off. The blue book is a bit useless and is long due for an update, so if parts don't apply just put n/a.
As for programme, when I did my permit, and on other SS camps I've been on, make it as free flowing as possible. 14 year olds do not like getting up at 7am, and neither do most leaders, so unless there is a glaring reason for getting up early on your camp, don't. Just go with the flow It'll be fab, good luck!
