    I am not sure if I was lucky or unlucky, however I was a Brownie Guide from before 1968 changes, so my first Brownie uniform had pockets at the top, we did lots of things very differently and then we had a young (new) brownie turn up in the 'new' uniform.     Lol....a fire guard on an old style brownie badge is, the 'Safety in the Home' badge. First badge I got on a pack holiday as a brownie in 1967!!!
