Even if I send as a gift i get asked to cover fees. Prob cos it's linked to my credit card not bank account.

Even as personal payment owed? I get charged if I do it as a gift, hence why I do pp owed.

    Intersting. I don't, maybe it's because I use a debit card. :)

It normally chargers you if it's over £50, even if you do Personal Payment owed. So to get around this you just do 2 seperate payments of £25 or whatever.

Not sure if it charges you if it's a credit card, and not linked to your bank account, as mine is linked. It wouldn't surprise me if it does though!

Can anyone tell me is there any specific footwear you need for the high ropes? Or is walking boots/trainers ok?

Thats good to know. As the forecast isn't for loads of rain I might not bother with boots / wellies, & just bring trainers & indoor shoes instead
