Just wondering if anyone finished their scrapbook.

I started mine but didn't get very far so I've decided to start again now it's all over and I can see what I need to include. I threw away most of what I had done (didn't like it) and have just ordered loads of photos and I'm looking forward to starting again and getting it finished :)

I have got loads of stuff pushed loose in mine, but need to take some time to stick it in properly.

Also need to get some more photos printed.

I realised that my centenary scrapbook actually needs to go to two volumes, or else it's going to explode ! (I ordered some more scrapbooks and then realised that my extension pages don't fit). Every time I tidy up, I keep finding something else to put in. I also need to get some photos developed. When I do, finally, get it completed - I'm definitely going to share it here !

i have a huge crate!!
I think if I had everything in one place I would need a huge crate.

I have gone for the artistically scattered around the house effect.

In fact, I was sewing badges on earlier and cannot move as the centenary blanket is strewn across half the floor with a dog and 2 cats asleep on it.

Mine is done! *Looks smug*

I did try to keep up with it during the centenary, but also, some of th longer things, like tall ships and Morocco I did just go for the best pics, rather than a 'full' scrapbook just for them

Oh India and Kenya could probably have a scrapbook of their own, but I'm only going to do a couple of pages for each - otherwise it's never going to get finished.

I'm glad it's not just me that hasn't finished it. Did about six pages of it, but have got most of the rest loose inside the front page. Want to start on it again soon, but at the moment it's still at my parents house 500 miles away.

Snap! :) I think I need to upload some of the later pages to my facebook album though.
Yes please do, your photos helped inspire me to make mine!

Mine is finished too, I finished it in April and I am very proud of it, almost every single page turned out how I wanted it. It has meant that my normal-life scrapbooking has now gone down the drain as I can't get it to live up to my Centenary scrapbook!

I have been involved in thre!! and three finished!!!!

My mums guides where I am a YL
My ranger unit
My mum and I did our own personal one - -we wemt to pax lodge last summer and went to the exhibitions there as well

actually i sort of did 4 as we had to do a 40 page project at school so I did mine on girl guiding in its 100th year -but that was more history than centenary.

We didnt use the GGUK official scrapbook for any of them but we bought the guides decoration pack and I have recently been given the SS version.More trimming up to do!!!!!!

Well I've now split mine properly into the two albums and have worked out exactly what shoudl go where. I wanted to get my Brownsea Island layout done today - but have run out of coffee stirrers ..... and there isn't a Costa's anywhere near us !

The long wooden sticks you get, that look like thin lolly sticks ...

The background for the spread is brown paper, crumpled up & then smoothed out, with stamps of leaves in 2 shades of green. The coffee stirrers are being used as frames for the photos - and I have scans of a couple of badges to stick in as well. I'm trying to work out how to make embellishments of twigs & stones in different tracking signs, as this is what we did with the Brownies. Now packing this one up and starting to sort out the Foxlease photos.

McDonalds have them too. I use them as glue spreaders with the Guides.

I am doing 3 Scrapbooks.

My personal one - I got as far as february so far.
My Guide Unit one - We got as far as July, just need to add in the Finally Party and 2010 2010 2010
The Division one - Well SS were meant to be doing it but haven't even started it, so I suppose I will have to do it instead.

I was also in the process of doing one for my rainbows as well, everythings in a bag ready but we can't really afford the photos. And I don't have the time to do my own, let alone a second one for rainbows!
