Has anyone got any ideas for a fundraising night for the Brownies to do to raise money?

We bag pack. We're a smaller unit, so fewer girls, so we don't go tot he bigger supermarkets. Instead, we look for smaller ones. Even since the carrier bag charge came in, we average £40-£50 an hour. Girls do two hour shifts.

Our most successful ones, done for charities, are
    (1) sponsored silence, which families think is hilarious, but the Brownies really rise to the challenge - top tip, make sure they have something to actively do during the meeting - last time we did bookfold hedgehogs, previously done as junk modelling night as well with challenge cards to do make the models in Sixes in silence.
    (2) a 'Brownie cafe' where the girls bring cakes and biscuits made at home, and decorate cakes at the meeting, run the tables of food and refreshment and a few simple activities, and we set up a youngsters table with colouring tablecloths or something like that. We do the cafes during Brownie meeting time, giving ourselves say 30-45 mins set up time and then parents come back, with siblings, grandparents, etc, and eat, drink, chat and relax. We usually ask for donations for refreshments and activities rather than setting a price, make sure they know what charity we are supporting (or if fundraising for the unit) and find parents very generous, it works for us :)

Have you got a car park that you could corner 1/2 off so girls could do it outside?
