i can happily use one, but i don't own one, and won't be coming from parents to bring that one, sorry!

I'll just need to test it at some point, as it was doing strange things last time I tried using it. I can go exchange it if it's still playing up, though, as it's in warrenty still

I have a handheld one that I can bring if you dont need it to do anthing amasing except for going in lines

Mine's just died on me. Only had it a few months, so it's now packed up and ready to go back to Argos to be replaced. Can't find the reciept, but their label is still on the side of the box, so hopefully they'll let me change it for a new one

Sorted, as long as you don't mind the fact the light no longer works. Argos refused to sort it (and their head office is getting a phone call as the woman's attitude and customer service was appalling - I actually swore at her which is so out of character) and fobbed me off with a phone number, but it turns out, on phoning the manufacturer, that it was the fuse that had blown wehn the light bulb died. Though surely that is a fault in itself, if the bulb has only lasted a few hours and caused the fuse to go...
