We've done the Bus and Paddington trails around London, anyone fancy this one next? :D
    http://shauninthecity.org.uk/
It's running in London between 28th March - 25th May (and in Bristol across the summer should anyone fancy organising a G2G there!)

I've put up a poll of dates at the top, including the bank holidays as an option - please tick all those you can do. I've also added a general Sat/Sun preference, for those who can do most weekends so don't mind which, but the day is the important factor.
I appreciate not everyone knows their schedule far ahead (myself included) though - however you might know the ones you definitely can't make already, which sometimes counts just as much.

It would be great to have another Guiders day out!

To state the dates I can definitely do at the moment:

    Saturday 11th April
    Sunday 12th April
    Saturday 18th April

My rota presently goes no further, but I'm not available 9th May (Guide event) or 23rd/24th May (off to a friends for Eurovision!)

As long as I have a few weeks notice for cheaper trains, I'm in. Would need to be a Saturday as teh Sunday trains make it not worth bothering, and neither BH weekend for me

Count me in, one question: Do you normally do uniform? I haven't got any these day but can shove on my necker if I can find it, that is!

Would love to join you but weekends are difficult. Once you have chosen one I will see if I can organise cover at work.

Most of us do tend to wear something Guiding related (uniform or other) & neckers but we're not going to get picky over it!

At the moment the 11th or 18th April are most popular - for those looking to book cheap trains, would the 18th be the better date?

    Alright, the date is set!
We will meet and try and find as many Shauns as we can on SATURDAY 18th APRIL :D

For those needing to book trains, lets provisionally say a meeting time of 10.30am. Unfortunately we're still without CHQ as a meeting point at the moment, so I'll have a think about that!

I can come! I will definitely not miss this one like last time. No excuse really as I live in the environs.

Oh dammity *list expletives here* - my rota has been completely rejigged and now they've stuck me on an early shift on April 18th.... which basically means I can't make it, or at least can't join everyone until after 4.30pm. So much for trying to organise this... Neurgh

I'll still be coming to London, and Hils my train home isn't until 9 pm so there will still be plenty of time to hunt. I think you should tell 'em you've made plans and they can stick it!

    I'm coming.

Looking at the website, the Shauns are put into different trails. Could we meet up with Hils at the beginning of one of those trails in the afternoon, having done another in the morning?

Unfortunately work does have the right to do that. It wasn't my protected day off - I just wasn't expecting them to change it all round. :(

If you're all fine leaving the Shaun Trail (around Oxford Circus/Leicester Sq) until later in the day, that would be brill - as work is only just up from Oxford Circus station & the start of the trail on Great Marlborough St it means I can join you asap when I'm done! :D

The trails map is too big to upload here, but it can be downloaded off the Shaun in the City site so you can work out where to start at the beginning of the day :)

My train will not get in until 11am (I never seem able to catch the earlier train on a Saturday). I can meet up with you all wherever you are likely to be at that time. My local line goes into London Bridge but I can switch to the other line and arrive at Victoria. I have no reason to rush home so happy with whatever is decided. Looking forward to seeing you all again.
