Whoever gets me in their car will get free parking coz I'll bring my blue badge - I probably won't need my wheelchair if we're going somewhere like that by car only if there's a lot of walking from one place to another. It's not the eaisest place to park close to but I did once walk slowly from one end of Cardiff Bay to the other but only coz it was good conditions and flat - any further/quicker I'd need someone to push me.

Is there a Guiding store in Cardiff (as it's the capital, like)??? In Essentials it says the new leaders shirt is availibe the day of the G2G so wouldn't it be nice if we inundated the poor shop and bought our long awaited for shirts on the G2G????

Can we go see all the different dragons in Newport? Can't seem to open the festival page but I think they were going to be there until end of October?

My apologies for laughing at your post cerys the Newp Gwent rugby team are called Dragons and they've just had the worst start to the season ever.... didn't know about a festival though, sounds interesting....

I REALLY need to know if we're going any distance without cars though becuase then I can leave my wheelchair at home and solve tons of train problems :) ;)

I'm glad it wasn't only me thinking of rugby!

I'm missing the best away game of the season for G2G6!

I am up for all the on site activities mentioned. I think if we go out it should be a short brief trip as we have paid to use the facilities for the week end so spending a lot of time elsewhere seems daft. Is there any where to visit that has a badge!

Do you have any welsh crafts for us to do?

There sadly is no guiding shop in Cardiff or south Wales for that matter. The nearest one is in broneirion and that is mid Wales

Are we nearing a final itinary yet? I need to know whether there's any walking involved - I can walk round the Bay coz it's flat but not from there to anywhere else. If we're not walking I don't need to bring my wheelchair and get assistance at the stations. :)

*I think I'm the only one that ever plans ahead, I'm used to it...*

Hiya Blue Dreamer
I think we will do an optional little two hour trip to Cardiff bay
we willl be taking cars and there is not that far to walk when you are there
so I will leave it up to your discretion whethere you come on the trip or not and if you do, whether you bring the chair or not. xx
